Who We Are
Spacehive is a crowdfunding platform for ideas that bring local places to life: everything from converting phone boxes into community libraries, transforming the local lido, to starting a street market. To date 800 projects have successfully crowdfunded with us, collectively raising over £15million.
Our innovative approach combines technology and specialised support, empowering communities to create projects which matter to them. As market disruptors, we’re re-imagining how people can transform the places they live. We have the highest success rate of any UK crowdfunding platform and are constantly striving to do things better.
Spacehive hosts and activates funding programmes for partner companies, foundations and councils which in turn fuel project ideas. Our fast-growing partner network ranges from the Mayor of London to Liverpool City Council and the Arts Council.
We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Partnership Manager to join a fun and driven team. Your role is to drum up interest in the funds our partners offer, and help cohorts of project creators prepare to crowdfund, with the goal of making as many amazing projects happen as possible. You’ll do this via digital campaigning techniques and boots-on-the ground events across the UK which inspire and support potential creators.
As Partnership Manager you will:
We are looking for a proactive, smart and highly driven individual who relishes the challenge of an entrepreneurial role at the front line of an ambitious tech for good company. You’ll have bags of initiative, creativity, and a boundless will to get things done.
Your personality will be persuasive, warm and relatable. You’ll be a confident public speaker who is as comfortable chatting with a Mayor as you are working a room of maverick changemakers, everywhere from Sunderland to Sussex.
We are open to the kind of experience you might have, both in your personal and professional life, but you must be able to demonstrate your entrepreneurial spirit through previous experience - whether that’s social enterprise, business development, consulting or events.
Previous experience in a startup is a plus.
This is a full-time position based in Spitalfields, London. Some travel is required.
Spacehive is an equal opportunities employer and we value diversity. Our goal is to build a team which is representative, at all job levels, of the communities we serve. The more inclusive we are the better our work will be.
